Valentine’s Scarves

This last week I’ve been pulling lots of pink yarn out of my stash to knit up a few Valentine’s Day Scarves for my nieces. The first two are for my oldest and youngest nieces:

My favorite stand by pattern – The Drop Stitch from the Stitch ‘n Bitch Nation book. I used Plymouth Yarn Athena in Tuttie Fruit on size 11 needles. I have to say this yarn was not the easiest to knit with but I do love the way the scarves turned out.

The next scarf is for my second oldest niece (and it’s the scarf I like the most 🙂 )

It’s the Wavy Gravy scarf pattern, also out of Stitch ‘n Bitch Nation. I used Phildar Lambswool in Freesia, double stranded, on size 8 needles. I really love this pattern!

Now I just have to get these packaged up and sent off to Oregon in time for Valentine’s Day 🙂
