Yet Another Felted Bag

Yes, I’m in love with the my mitered square felted tote pattern. I finally finished another one for myself. It took me over a month. Not bad with the holidays, playing step-mom, and doing a few scarves for gifts.

Before Felting:

You can hardly see the second color I used in this pic. I used Lamb’s Pride Worsted in Onyx and Forest Shadows. I love, love, love the new variegated colors from Lamb’s Pride. Must get the Raspberry and purple next.

After Felting:

The colors pop a little more in this picture. Hubby described it as a “marbled look” and I completely agree 🙂 This was after two cycles in a front load washing machine.

Extreme close-up of the colors:

I can’t wait to take it to work Monday morning to show it off. It’s the perfect size for my lunch and snacks for the day. Which reminds me – I’m very proud of myself for only eating out once last week (a Subway sandwich) and not having coffee or buying coffee once. It was hard. Especially the coffee on those cold days. Black or green tea gives me the little bit of caffeine I need to ward off headaches and still warms me up.
