Sockapalooza Update – Finished

My contribution to Sockapalooza 4 is complete πŸ™‚ After changing patterns, multiple froggings and seriously doubting if I’d ever finish them I’ve got them done about a month a head of time. Now I just wish I knew if I was going to get called on to be a sock savior so I could start working on those.

The pattern Broadripple from Knitty, yarn is Lisa Souza sock yarn in Agua Fresca. Knit with size three DPN needles. Socks are blocking now.

Not sure what my next project will be but I’d better find something fast because Kimwill be here a week from today and we have lots of KIPing to do πŸ™‚

I am currently knitting broadripple in a very multicoloured yarn. The differences in how they look are vast! I love yours – they don’t look like the same pattern. Hehe.

The socks are really nice. I came over from Knitty but I’d like to comment about the cake 1. Yuuuhhmm! 2. You frosted it really evenly. Kudos. The trick to not getting any on the plate is to work strips of waxed paper or any kind of paper under the edges of the cake before you frost it. After you frost it you then carefully work the paper back out from under. If any seals between cake and paper have developed slide a knife through first. Voila, clean plate. Thanks for the recipe. I LOVE Kahlua and chocolate and cake.
