Valentine Socks

I finished the funky black/pink/purple socks I was working on and since it’s now February I thought it was fitting for them to be Valentine socks. They started out as Get Well pair of socks for my cousin who had surgery back in December. It’s closer to Valentine’s Day so she’s getting an unexpected V-Day present from me. Here’s the finished product.

I absolutely love the way the coloring came out and am so glad that I didn’t mess with a pattern. Any pattern would have been lost in these all these colors. It’s a twisted rib cuff and just basic stockinette rest of the way down. I used size 1.5 dpns (fragile little f–kers).

Please excuse the very white legs in the background. The model hasn’t seen the sun in a very long time (see previous posts :) )

Now I’m at the point again of “What do I want to do next?” I hate that. While I’m working on a project I have lists going in my head of all the things I want to work on next, then when I’m finished I’m at a loss. I’m sure I’ll figure it out by tomorrow. More snow in the forcast means not much venturing outside and more time for knitting :)
