More Snow
Apparently all the snow we’ve been getting is normal for Idaho. As in 10-15 years ago normal. Yesterday was another snow day for the schools in the area. I work for one of the school districts and apparently it’s safe enough for anyone who works in the district office to drive in the snow, but it’s not safe enough for the teachers, principals or school staffs to work in. As you can probably guess I work in the district/administrative office. Luckily my boss is understanding about my 20 mile drive and has been letting me decide when I feel it’s safe enough for me drive to work. Funny how that’s now happening right after the “My job will never come before my safety and my life” discussion I had with herĀ a couple of days ago. The snow tires help me feel a little more comfortable driving in this weather, but they don’t help with all people around me fishtailing and spinning out. SCARY!
So I’m at home, glued to the news website and the weather channel. Freezing rain, 30mph winds, blowing snow. Yah, I need a refill on my hot tea.

Hubby made me a snowman the other day. He got a kick out of me running it over to get my car in the garage
I’m so jealous. We get snow, then it melts and all we have is crappiness on the ground. Blech!
