Stamps & Stuff
My cousin who got me started with stamping was cleaning out her stamp collection last week. And now I have the beginnings of my own stamp collection

Now I need to get ink to stamp with. That will be going on my Christmas list!
Speaking of Christmas I think I mentioned awhile back that my husband’s family volunteered our house for Christmas dinner. I really don’t mind, but as it gets closer I’m starting to freak. Just a little bit, but I don’t know why. We are buying a pre-cooked ham, everyone is bringing a dish or toys to keep their little ones busy and I’m sure most of the women will help with the cleanup afterwards. I think I’m freaking out because I’ve never entertained more than two or four people before. And we’re talking 20+ for dinner. Yikes!
I’m about to start my grocery list, chore list, errand list, etc. Like I haven’t done these lists over and over again this last week. If I looked hard enough I bet I’d find a list or two in my car and purse (the joys of Post-it notes). It would probably be a good idea to actually start working on at least one of those lists rather than wait until the last day and get really frazzled about it all.
On top of all the lists: 1) BUY PLENTY OF WINE, 2) DRINK PLENTY OF WINE

Stamping and scrapbooking are 2 hobbies that I just don’t see myself getting into.
I have to agree that entertaining can be very stressful. Have fun and don’t forget the wine.
| Posted 1 year, 6 months agoStamping can be a lot of fun, especially when you can incorporate them in to your scrapbooks. A word of advice though….look in to buying unmounted stamps with a temporary mouting system rather than accumulating a bunch of wood-mounted stamps. Before you know it, those wood-mounted stamps can take up their own half of your walk-in closet! Believe me, I know! Merry Christmas!

I never got into scrapbooking but still love to stamp (when time permits). Can’t wait to see what you turn out.
